3 Chic Under-$55 Holiday Looks to Re-Create ASAP

Is it just me, or did the holidays creep up on us this year? My calendar is filling up with celebratory events, and I'm feeling a bit unprepared. In an effort to avoid too many 30-minute closet raids that result in me screaming, "Ugh, I have nothing to wear!" (we've all been there), I'm enlisting content creator Samira Radmehr as my source of holiday inspo. You may recognize her from the chic everyday looks that pop up on your Instagram Explore page, or you may have seen the TikTok videos of her stunning Lake Como wedding. No matter the platform, Radmehr is always keeping us up to date on the latest and greatest trends while staying true to her personal style.

This season, Walmart has been Radmehr's go-to because its wide selection has something for everyone at an affordable price. "Walmart is the one-stop shop for all things holiday fashion, and for me, that just makes shopping for holiday looks that much easier," she says. She did us all a favor and styled three head-to-toe looks from Walmart below, and they're perfect for every event you've RSVP'd to this season. If you want a trend-focused look that's seasonally appropriate and won't break the bank, keep scrolling.

Radmehr describes her everyday style as "neutral, cool, and modern with an edgy touch," and she's definitely channeling that energy with this sequinned number. While I pick my jaw up off the ground, can we talk about the cutout detailing and how beautifully this catches the light? If you want heads to turn as soon as you walk into the room, consider adding this under-$30 dress to the top of your wish list. She styled it with heels and minimalist accessories to really let the dress shine, but she can see herself styling it with knee-high boots and a long, cozy coat too. "From the head-to-toe sparkles to the cutouts at the waist, this look is perfect for any holiday party or even a holiday date night," she says.

When I'm not wearing sequins and sparkles, I'll be reaching for velvet. I mean, does it get more festive than velvet? Radmehr is a huge fan of juxtaposing textures and considers it a hack for elevating any look. "Oftentimes, we see a dress and feel like it would look best styled with heels, but for me, I think throwing on a leather jacket and booties really adds a nice element to the look," she says. Your first instinct may not be to pair a velvet slip dress with leather outerwear and accessories, but Radmehr's biggest tip is to "never underestimate the power of styling." For her, the most important step in styling is finishing off a look with the right accessories, and that rings true with this outfit—the green quilted shoulder bag really brings the look to new heights. If you need me, I'll be re-creating this 'fit for my next girls' night.

Don't be fooled—as much as I love to dress up for the holidays, I love dressing down too. "I love that I can find cozy and comfortable looks at Walmart but also find looks that are dressier and more elevated for special occasions this holiday season," Radmehr tells me. The cropped bomber jacket is definitely the star of the show and a key player in the fall and winter outerwear trends we've been seeing on and off the runways. To keep the rest of the look relaxed and comfy, Radmehr wore an all-white base and suede clogs with faux fur lining to complement the lining of the jacket. "I would wear this look to go holiday shopping for gifts, to a coffee shop, or to a cozy night in with friends," she says.
