About

The book that changed my life...

In a Sunburned Country—which I read before moving to Australia.

The most amazing meal I've ever had...

A lunch with my entire family at La Colombe d'Or in the south of France. The weather was perfect, the view unbeatable, and the food so fresh.

The morning and nighttime routines I swear by...

Morning: I start my morning with warm water with lemon and Pod Save America. I love waking up earlier, and easing into my day: tidying up my apartment, catching up on the news, and answering emails. On my way out, I grab a coffee from Everyman Espresso. In the summer, I go for runs on the East Side River.

Nighttime: I'm usually running around at events in the evenings but, if I get home early, I put on a face mask and catch up on Netflix or read a book.

The best décor hack I've learned...

How to choose a paint color based the orientation and amount of natural light your room gets.

My interior stylist spirit animal is...

I love the work of Ashe + Leandro, Gachot Studios, Joseph Dirand, Roman + Williams. I could go on...

The Instagram handles I follow religiously are...

@tmagazine@bat_gio@sohohouse, @petesouza, and @overheardnewyork for comical relief.

This season, my go-to cocktail order is...

Depending on my mood, I usually alternate between a spicy margarita, a gin gimlet, or a good glass of Burgundy Pinot Noir or Sancerre.

The first lesson I learned as an Adult with a capital A...

Everything you need to know about moving to a new country. I've done it twice now and it's just as stressful each time, but it's always worth it.

The most surprising thing I learned from a MyDomaine story is...

How one young woman, nicknamed the "Lybian Doogie Howser", graduated med school at 15, and proceeded to become the youngest UN high-level commissioner, advising on peace, security, and women's rights.
