I'm Not Getting Married, But I Can't Stop Eyeing These Stunning White Dresses

When it comes to shopping, what attracts us the most to a garment is its color. More than fit, silhouette, or style, color is the key. We all have a select set of colors that we tend to gravitate toward when it comes to our personal style. Some love chic, minimal, neutral tones while others prefer bold colors and have a little bit more fun when it comes to experimenting with a color palette. For me, I’m a mix of both.

I’ve always said that my mood determines how I dress. Some days, I go for a ‘90s New York City fashion critic look, with strong black pieces that emphasize great tailoring and convey an aloof sense of luxury. On other days, I prefer to stand out on my commute with fun colors, fabrics, and silhouettes that say “I’m not afraid to take risks.” But there’s one color that always catches my eye: white. There's something about a great white shirt with the perfect pair of jeans, and every year, I eagerly await the change to break out my favorite white jeans and linen pants.

Recently, while researching spring and summer dresses, I realized that almost everything I liked was white. As I scrolled through the mountain of dresses in my online wish list, I couldn't help but think "This would be perfect for a bridal shower," "This would look amazing at a bachelorette party," or "I'll save this one for my own rehearsal dinner." I'm not even close to walking down the aisle, but I am an expert on white dresses, and I don't believe in gatekeeping. So, I've put together a list of the chicest white dresses out there, from the coolest Coperni look to the most romantic Reformation dresses, to help future brides-to-be find their dream dress.

Keep scrolling to see which dresses made the cut.

I love the scalloped detailing on the hem and bust of this linen minidress, making it perfect for a bridal brunch or shower.

This bow-detailed dress looks exactly like the one my friend wore to the welcome drinks cocktail party at her wedding, and it looked so good on her. The dramatic bow is so fun.

This dress is simple yet elegant, making it a great option for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner. It would also be perfect to wear during the daytime on your bachelorette trip.

There is something so sweet and dainty about this dress. I could see myself wearing it while welcoming my bridal party to our villa in Tuscany. So chic.

Okay, I'm obsessed with this Staud dress. I have been eyeing it for so long.

This dress always sells out for a reason—it's so pretty and comes at a great price.
