I'm 5'2", and These Are My Favorite Swimsuits Right Now

Now, I can’t speak for all (or any) other petite women, but I for one am very conscious of my height. While I rarely find that there are many things I truly can’t wear, within every category, I do know that there are brands, cuts, and styles that simply flatter my body better than others. And regardless of whether something is trendy or a brand is buzzy, I prefer to stick to pieces that do make me feel my best and complement my height rather than stunt it.

With that in mind, I thought I would share the swimsuit styles I not only love and recommend for this season but those which, at 5’2”, I would actually wear myself. Whether it’s a brand I’ve been wearing for years, a recent successful purchase, or simply a suit that, after much experience, I can just tell has that perfect fit, below you’ll find 26 bikinis and one-pieces I’m either wearing, buying, or eyeing for the months ahead. To get started shopping (and reading my two cents on each), just keep scrolling.

This atypically shaped top (which I'm wearing above) is like a magnet for complements.

I love the cut of this suit, which is the same as the leopard-print style I'm wearing above, just in an updated print.

I'm wearing a blue bikini by this brand in the photo at the top of this article and have always loved the way it fits. This pearl-embellished suit is really speaking to me for the season.

The Oséree bikini I purchased on sale two summers ago is still one of my favorites this year.

I tend to be picky about prints, but this one is just too good to pass up.

While ASOS has specific categories dedicated to its petite and plus-size offerings, I've always had luck with its main selection.

Belts are a blessing for us petite women because they let you kind of customize the fit of a suit to your body.

I love bikini tops where the straps go straight back (as opposed to halters) because they have a way of elongating your neck and chest area rather than shortening it.
