Hot off the heels of a Met Gala red carpet for the history books, we've now set our sights on a destination some 4000 miles from NYC: the French Riviera. While creativity reigns supreme on the Met Gala red carpet, glamour is the name of the game at the Cannes Film Festival. Now in its 72nd year, the festival always boasts the most ravishing celebrity looks befitting the chic location. After all, would you show up to the South of France in anything less than your most stylish finery? Late icons like Princess Diana and Grace Kelly certainly set the bar high at Cannes, but we have no doubt 2019 will be stellar.

Running from May 14 to 25, this year's Cannes Film Festival includes a strong lineup of film premieres, including Pain and Glory, starring Penélope Cruz; Frankie, starring Isabelle Huppert; and The Dead Don't Die, featuring Selena Gomez and Chloë Sevigny. Oh, and how could we forget Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which boasts an A-list cast that includes Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Dakota Fanning?
