Sometimes it can seem like certain niche fashion aesthetics are nothing more than passing flights of fancy driven by the internet's power users. Tomato girl? Mermaidcore? Old money? But when we see a large swath of celebrities tapping into the same common theme, it has a bigger impact. This summer, the A-list crowd seems to share the same mood board. In fact, their recent outfits only confirm their shared style inspiration.

From Kendall Jenner to Katie Holmes, I can't help but spot the same easy outfit combination on all the best-dressed celebs right now—and it's oh-so French. It features a delicate midi dress (or full skirt and top) with pretty ballet flats and mimics a favorite we always spot on Parisian women.

On Kendall Jenner: The Row Claudette Flats and Sofia Bag

While in Paris earlier this summer, Jenner tried her hand at a classic Parisian ensemble consisting of a delicate sheer-panel dress with sleek ballet flats from The Row. For an extra dose of French style, she finished it off with a stretchy fabric headband à la the recent Schiaparelli runways.

Even Hailey Bieber has been swapping her signature heels for flats lately. Her favorite pair? Saint Laurent's patent-leather slingbacks, which she wears on repeat with everything from baggy jeans to silk slip dresses. Here, she paired them with a soft pink slip dress for dinner in West Hollywood. This look, however, could have very easily translated to the streets of the Marais.

Elsa Hosk is another fan of Saint Laurent's Blade flats. She styled hers with a strapless dress and a classic leather belt. The full-skirt look reads very Parisian, especially with Hosk's blunt bob.

Laura Harrier similarly embraced the French-girl look while stepping out in Cannes. The actress paired a voluminous midi skirt with a tube top for a similar silhouette. Of course, she slipped on a pair of slip-on flats for the ultimate French-inspired finish.
