Every Celebrity Is Wearing This Elevated Pant Trend Instead of Jeans Right Now

Arnold Jerocki/Getty ImagesWe already know all too well that one celebrity wearing something can turn said item into a major trend, especially when that celebrity is someone as influential as Kim Kardashian West or Gigi Hadid. But what happens when multiple celebrities wear the same piece? Well, it becomes *the* trend. At least, that appears to be the case with the pant style that's now been spotted on both of the above as well as on Bella Hadid, Jasmine Tookes, and Katy Perry—all in the span of a few weeks.
The buzzy trend in question? Leather pants, which practically every A-lister seems to be ditching their jeans for this month. The streak started two weeks ago, when Tookes was seen in L.A. wearing a pair of Good American faux-leather pants with Ugg clogs, a black turtleneck, and a matching duster. Then, during Milan Fashion Week, Kardashian West and both Hadid sisters were seen sporting the sleek pant style, all within a few days of each other. Back in L.A., Perry wore a full-leather look for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Coincidence? We think not.
Ahead, see how every well-dressed celeb is styling their new go-to pants right now. And while you're at it, shop our favorite takes on the trend.
