The Easiest Way to Look Chic This Winter Is to Buy These Nordstrom Items

Looking warm and chic during the winter is quite the feat to pull off. Take it from this New Yorker, who struggles with the concept year after year, especially when the January snow storms start to hit and the subzero temperatures follow. Noticing a  lackluster nature in my own wardrobe (I truly can’t bear to wear my sleeping bag-style, puffer coat another day), I went straight for the Nordstrom Cold Weather Shop and found some major goodies.

Cool, faux fur outerwear pieces are going to be my biggest helper—after all, in a commuter city like New York, a coat makes or breaks your whole outfit. Minimalist knitwear is another must in my book, whether that be fitted turtlenecks or ribbed zip-ups, and winter boots are a definite necessity for storming those slippery sidewalks. Instead of your run-of-the-mill snow options, I am going for street style-approved picks like leather, block heels and even UGGs—what can I say? I have been influenced by all the cute, Instagram looks.
