Sweaters styled as scarves and chocolate paired with black. Perhaps her biggest point of focus, though, is great outerwear primed for cold winter days. "It’s all anyone really sees after all," she explains.
"Sweaters styled as scarves were all over the S/S 24 runways, and personally, but I’ve been a longtime fan of the look. I like to layer up two of the same style."

It’s fun, but it’s also work, and I need the clothes that I’m wearing to be comfortable, easy to move around in, yet still show off my personality. It will be cold (praying for no rain or snow), so for the most part it will be all about a great coat. I guess we can say business on the outside, party on the inside, where underneath you can catch a fun skirt like sequins or metallic to jazz things up a bit, or a great pair of leather pants. I want to accessorize more and be intentional with little details like leather gloves (short and opera length) while carrying a great handbag that will store all my essentials like a phone charger and snacks. My go-to designers during this week are always Khaite and Toteme because the pieces are chic and feel closest to my everyday style. At the end of the day, it’s just not about re-inventing the wheel, but wearing things that ultimately make me feel good."

Each of their styles of coats are just simply so chic and are absolutely perfect for pulling off a pulled together look, while also staying warm for fashion week. I’m thinking of styling with straight-leg jeans or a denim skirt so you can see the true beauty of these magnificent boots."

For NYFW I am finding myself drawn to wearable and elegant looks with a touch of whimsical fantasy. I will be embracing layering, keeping myself extra warm, and revealing new aspects of the look once I am indoors, while also focusing on highlighting accessories around my outerwear.
A few brands I will be including but not limited to are; Commission, Maria McManus, By Malene Birger, Interior, A Company, Emily Dawn Long, Extreme Cashmere, MNZ. I will also be mixing in archival vintage with designer pieces to create unique looks."

"As I've shared previously, I am very much a belt girl. There are many great ones already out this year, especially this recent couture season. I love dramatic ones but find myself continually drawn towards belts that can become staples in my day to day. The Zoira belt from By Malene Birger is a great example of this. I have a fantasy of styling the Extreme Cashmere scarf around my waist, tightly buckling the Zoira belt over it, and having the Tibi gloves tucked in and draping over the side. Stay tuned."

Getty Images/Christian Vierig"As much as I'd like to wear all of the new pieces in my wardrobe that I'm excited about styling like I do during fashion week in September, I looked at the forecast for February (granted I'm sure it's subject to change because, you know, nature tends to do that) and it's looking like coats are going to take priority over anything worn underneath them. I'll probably stick with long, classic wool coats, and add to them some variation of a black kitten heel or boot, and accessories to dress them up (think brooches, fun handbags, long leather gloves, belts, etc.).
The Row's lookbooks and runway shows always up beautiful styling inspiration for this type of dressing direction, so I'll pull some imagery to go off of, as well as dig into the archives from the late '80s and '90s. As for brands, I have a few new Khaite, Tory Burch, and Proenza Schouler items that I'd like to wear—it's fun to support those brands that, no matter how successful they get, always show in New York. And for bags, I'm kind of a strict Bottega Veneta and Prada shopper, so I'm sure I'll showcase a few of those, specifically my Andiamo and Sardine bags from Bottega and 1995 Re-Edition and Supernova from Prada."
