7 H&M Knits I'm Buying to Get J.Law's and Dakota Johnson's Cozy Fall Aesthetics

The first day of fall isn't technically for another week or so, but ever since the temperatures went from the 90s to the 60s and 70s in recent days, the celebrity set hasn't wasted any time trading in their linen trousers and cotton dresses for cozy knits designed for the season ahead. Case in point: Dakota Johnson and Jennifer Lawrence, who, despite living on opposite coasts—Johnson's in L.A. while Lawrence is in NYC—were spotted this week wearing near-identical oversize knits that, together, unofficially kick-started sweater season.

Lawrence was seen strolling through the city alongside her husband, Cooke Maroney, wearing a beige, oversize turtleneck with flowy The Row trousers, slipper slides, and the XL version of Loewe's iconic Flamenco bag. Meanwhile, Johnson went grocery shopping in Malibu in a similarly supersize turtleneck, matching lounge pants, and a pair of now sold-out sage-green Sambas. Both outfits would've looked out of place a week ago. But after the recent temperature drop, they each appear perfectly autumnal.

Follow their leads by shopping seven under-$100 H&M knits that I myself plan on buying to copy their just-launched fall aesthetics.

The more oversize the sweater, the better.

These shapely sleeves make this sweater look 10 times pricier.

I just know this sweater's shockingly cozy.

Think about all the easy outfits you'll create with this knit as the centerpiece.

My love for chunky fall knits knows no bounds.

Why even try to convince yourself not to when you just could?
