It's become a doomsday signal that winter is near every time I pull it out of storage. So in a great effort to be more creative with my winter looks, I'm investing in a new kind of functional outerwear: everything from FP Movement's latest collection. The brand's new activewear and ski arrivals are stocked with fun prints, trending colors, and cool designs that I was excited to get my hands on. When the products arrived at my doorstep, I was even more impressed with them. They're functional, comfortable, stylish, and totally cool. To see how you can style the latest pieces, Aniyah Morinia and I are back with four looks we'll be wearing weekly all winter long. Keep scrolling to get some much-needed cold-weather outfit inspiration.

From the lightweight vest to the cobalt-blue pants to the scrunchie, this puffer material gives me maximum warmth and comfort. I strayed from the predictable black ensembles that New Yorkers sport this time of year and went for a bold pop of color. You'll see me in this puffer combo on my morning walks, shopping trips, and everywhere else this holiday season. Leave it to Free People to have multiple colors so that I can keep these pieces on heavy rotation for my winter wardrobe." — Aniyah Morinia, Editor

I love that I can easily put it in my locker at my workout classes. To keep it as the focus, I went for the Never Better leggings in black, which I think are the softest leggings ever. The slouchy socks paired with these ultra-comfortable running shoes maintain that athleisure feel." — Aniyah

@nataliegrayherder; Original Illustration by Yracema RivasWhile I understand puffer coats are a complete necessity this time of year, I don't always want to resemble a marshmallow. I love that I'm able to cinch the waist to give some shape to this jacket. Plus, the pockets are lined with fleece, which is a detail I didn't know I needed but now can never go without. The leggings are a part of FP Movement's Never Better collection, which has become a go-to of mine. The fabric is buttery soft and supportive throughout any workout. I'd wear this look on a winter walk or while heading to hot yoga. It's totally functional and stylish.

Styled with the most lightweight cargo pants I've tried to date, this outfit was made for everything from weekend errands to a hike upstate. However, I can't talk about this look without mentioning the MVP: the Surplus Shine Carryall. It weighs practically nothing and can carry just about everything you desire. Since the holidays are right around the corner, this would make such a great gift.
