When you're in the short-person club (like myself), the thought of going to dinner, on a first date, or on a night and wearing flats is horrifying. I know that sounds dramatic, but when you live in a city that can sometimes feel like a sea of 5'9"+ models, those of us who are 5'5" and under are taking every extra inch we could get. I'm telling you. I was a bona fide heel girl. If you ever saw me wearing flats, I was either running to a workout or running a quick errand.
