As soon as I could get involved with the industry, I was working different retail jobs through college, doing internships and fellowships in media, volunteering at runway shows, assisting stylists on set at photo shoots, and freelance writing. My current role as the assistant shopping editor at Who What Wear is, by far, my favorite role, but before working my dream job, I was a fashion stylist for Nordstrom.
Working for Nordstrom opened my eyes to so many brands that have become personal favorites of mine. While I don't work for the retailer anymore, it is still high on my list when it comes to where I go to get my shopping fix. During my latest deep dive through the Nordstrom website, I found so many good things that I needed in my closet immediately—great dresses that I can style multiple ways, basics that I'll live in, and, of course, lots of pretty shoes.
I rounded up 30 great items on my wish list, so keep scrolling to see which ones made the cut.
I wore this shirt dress as a top with white pants, but style it as a dress or pair with denim shorts.
A black midi dress with a high slit is a go-to look for me.
