Whether it’s the trending denim of the moment or the season’s It print, we hope to inspire your daily outfits and up the cost per wear on some of our favorite items.
As a competitive-dancer-turned-fashion-editor, I can spot high-quality activewear from a mile away. The industry is inundated with brands these days, and I've definitely tested my fair share of them. Activewear pieces have to be supportive, comfortable, functional, and stylish—and let's not forget about a good price point. I won't settle for anything less when there are brands like Athleta on the market. Not only do its offerings fit my strict criteria, but they're made from high-quality materials that are worth the investment, so I can buy a whole workout look in one go without having to worry about it falling apart after a few wears. Below, you'll find my fall-inspired activewear look featuring Athleta's buttery-soft Powervita fabric. And for an added dose of inspiration, I hit up my fellow editors, Emma Walsh and Aniyah Morinia, to provide their go-to looks as well. Keep scrolling to see the fresh ways we're styling activewear for the season ahead.

I love the ribbed fabric, and the bordeaux-red shade is so autumnal. This bra is not only cute but also supportive in all the right places. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money on black leggings in search of the perfect pair, and these are perfect. Since the temps are cooling down, I like to layer a white tank (so versatile) and a fitted athletic jacket. TBH, I will shamelessly wear this look on repeat throughout the fall." — Emma Walsh, associate editor

Wearing brighter colors always makes me feel more confident in a workout class, so I'd instantly grab these ultra-high-waisted leggings (which are smoothing and comfortable, by the way) and the matching top in the Larkspur Red shade. I love how buttery soft the fabric is and the fact that it's moisture-wicking, so my sweat evaporates quickly. The Solace Bra has a strappy back detail that looks great underneath any tank. I'm ready to take a Pilates class and admire this cute and functional outfit in the mirror the whole time." — Aniyah Morinia, editor
Fit & Flare

Nothing makes me feel more put-together than a matching set, and this navy combo is really doing it for me. The Powervita fabric is lightweight but not sheer, and it provides ample support while I'm out and about. Flare pants made a Y2K-inspired comeback last year, and their momentum is set to continue on into the fall." — Natalie Gray Herder, editor
