Welcome to the latest edition of the series in which we'll cover a variety of basics that we turn to time and time again. We hope that The Basics will help you build your closet with pieces that you will wear on repeat without doing harm to your bank account. We already covered the $69 treggings that "flatter every body type," the $100 cashmere sweater that makes any wardrobe look expensive, the free leggings everyone was talking about, the perfect T-shirt we wear over and over, the world's most slimming skinny jeans, and the denim jacket that goes with dresses, leggings, and jeans. Next up is the graphic tee you'll want to wear with everything in your closet.

Truth be told, I'm a bit of a T-shirt hoarder. I have fitted ones, cropped ones, striped ones, one emblazoned with a unicorn, etc. And I've recently been dipping a toe into the logo tee trend that Gucci made a thing again. While I'm not going for a full-on logomania look, what I love about the logo graphic tee trend is that it harkens back to my days as an '80s and '90s kid, and it's that nostalgia factor that undoubtedly plays a part in the resurgence of Fiorucci and its signature angel logo.

The Italian brand is back in full force, as any fashion girl's Instagram feed would indicate. You know that a trend has become a bona fide cult classic when It girls like Kendall Jenner, Martha Hunt (pictured above in a Fiorucci angels tee), Gigi Hadid, Chloë Sevigny, and Romee Strijd all wear it (in this case, Fiorucci tees). Since acquiring one of my own, I've received countless comments from fellow fashion girls that they, too, used to sport the classic Fiorucci logo as kids. When a piece is a conversation starter and makes people smile, I find myself wanting to wear it more often than not, which is why I've been brainstorming new ways to wear the tee with skirts, jeans, trousers, heels, and flats. I now officially want one in every color.

Read on to see, shop, and get styling inspiration for the Fiorucci graphic tee everyone is wearing.
