During Paris Fashion Week, the Italian house debuted an all-pink collection for its fall/winter 2022 presentation, leading in a surge of searches. Of course, there's also Greta Gerwig's Barbie starring Margot Robie and Ryan Gosling, which no doubt made an impact in the trend's doll-inspired name.

Despite a chilly winter, the Pepto Bismol pink takeover is still going strong: On TikTok, #barbiecore has amassed more than 176.1 million views. Klarna previously reported that consumers are all in. Data shows that searches for things like pink mini dresses and swimsuits spiked over the summer.
