Here's How to Incorporate Pastels Into Your Fall Wardrobe

When the weather starts to turn chilly, it is often our inclination to start putting away the pastels in exchange for richer colors. This is now a thing of the past, with the surge of light-colored pieces available than ever before for fall and winter. It may feel odd at first, but the result is a fresh, airy autumn look that still keeps you warm. We recently came across these stunning lookbook shots from AYR, which prove just how easy it is to wear pastel hues for the new season.

To pull off this outfit, find a jacket (either a trench or blazer) in a soft color like the baby pink seen here. Drape this over a white top of your choosing as well as a pair of white jeans (yes, you can wear white for fall as well!). To complete the look, try a pair of backless loafers in a darker color, to ground the ensemble.
