Melbourne Cup 2017: What Everyone's Wearing for a Day on the Green

Last weekend, we got a taste of what trends our favourite Australian celebrities and influencers are wearing this racing season. A few weekends have already passed, but it really is Derby Day that kicks off the biggest week in spring racing. We saw a lot of intricate and unique hairstyles and accessories, which generally spells out what party dressing will look like as we head into the summer months. This year's Melbourne Cup looks are proving that bright hues are well and truly back, and unique headpieces are having a real moment.

The looks we can't stop talking about in the office today, are Jennifer Hawkins in Alex Perry, Jodi Gordon in pink for the second year in a row, and Kate Waterhouse's unique turban.
