4 Top-Tier NYFW Trends Everyone Will Be Wearing This Fall

You know it's New York Fashion Week when you see street style photographers crowding random corners of the city and people sprinting out of cabs at an unusually fast pace (even for New Yorkers) dressed in designer looks that feel a bit too much for daytime (again, even for New Yorkers). While many fashion editors look forward to the shows and the new pieces designers have dreamt up for the following season, I'm always just as (if not more) interested to see what the fashion set is wearing to these shows.

Per usual, this year's attendees stepped out in all of the big fall trends, four of which are proving to reign supreme. I'm breaking them down below along with which jewelry from the Pandora Moments collection I'd style with each trend. The collection features an array of symbols that allow you to personalize your looks, so there's really no better match when it comes to expressing yourself this fall. Here's how it's done.

The menswear trend has been popping up in women's fashion for a few seasons now, and it's here to stay. This year's iterations are taking inspiration from both classic workwear (think cool suits styled with fun accessories) and prep-school uniforms (e.g. polished blazers paired with flirty miniskirts). You can lean into the trend with jewelry by wearing a stack of simple silver bracelets that lean more chunky and chainlike than dainty. The various clasp shapes on these three create a unique layering moment.

Faux fur and shearling are practical choices when the temps drop, but these cozy fabrics are popping up on more than outerwear this fall. We'll see lots of shearling bags and shoes, and I like the idea of leaning into this texture with jewelry, too. I'll be wearing a mix of Pandora's studded pieces to create a cool contrast effect. PS: How cute is this studded charm?

Red—specifically rich, saturated shades—is officially the color of 2023. Fashion editors and tastemakers are opting to wear red from head to toe for a statement-making look. To tap into the regal nature of this trend, I'll be sticking to yellow-gold jewelry—and lots of it. My new favorite gold hoops, this special infinity necklace, and of course, this crown-inspired ring (how fitting?) will definitely be involved.

Designers often pull inspiration from the past, and the '90s are getting the most love for fall. Low-rise pants, simple ribbed tanks, baggy trousers, minimalist silhouettes—it's all fair game this season. As a '90s kid myself, I automatically associate the period with my favorite childhood charm bracelets, so it's the perfect jewelry trend to wear with these looks. I'll give it a more modern, elevated spin with mixed-metal charms, but they'll still have that same sentimental and personal touch with symbols like my initials or zodiac sign.
