Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.

I'll be honest: I'm not a big "going out" person. But when I do go out, I like to do it big. I'm talking full glam, sparkly accessories, and a show-stopping, Instagram-worthy outfit. And there's no better occasion than New Year's Eve in New York City to tap into my most extra style. The streets are basically a runway, so you kind of have to dress to impress. If you're looking for some outfit and makeup inspiration for your New Year's celebration, I've got you covered. Keep reading for all the party-perfect clothes, makeup, and accessories you need for your night out.

It's a little business and a little party.

This intoxicating fragrance from Kilian is begging to be worn to your New Year's Eve celebration. It blends pink and white roses, orange blossoms, and Egyptian jasmine with a base of milky toffee. It's divine.

Fashion people everywhere are wearing Bottega Veneta's beloved drop earrings, so I'm scooping up this pair that looks nearly identical (for way less money).

Polka dots are so playful, and the sheer fabric elevates this dress.

With gold packaging, a classic red hue, and high-impact pigment, this lipstick feels designer.

It's giving rich energy. The asymmetrical one-shoulder silhouette on this dress is so flattering, and the combination of velvet and satin is next-level luxe.

Don't be afraid to mix metals, especially during party season. Silver and gold are always a winning combo.

Rare Beauty has never done me wrong. The lip oil is one of my favorites from the brand—it has this cooling, jelly-like formula that quenches your lips and adds the perfect kiss of color. It's a must-have in my purse at all times.

Come wintertime, I pull out all my velvet party dresses. I love the dainty rosette detail on this one.

A $9 dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Highlighter Wand? Yes, please. You get all the shimmery, golden goodness for less than a quarter of the price.

Sheer fabric may be a polarizing trend, but I'm all for it.

With this mascara, you don't even need falsies. It's formulated with bamboo extract and tubing fibers for the most fluttery, voluminous lashes.

Dazzle at your next event with these diamond earrings. You'll look like a million bucks.

I'm in love with this innovative blush. Makeup artist Patrick Ta recommends applying the powder first to give a bold, highly pigmented base and then applying the cream on top for a dewy, lit-from-within glow.

I absolutely adore these ivory pumps. How precious is the crystal bow detail? I plan on wearing them with a shimmery silver-and-white dress.

Silky-smooth skin is possible in winter with this ultra-hydrating lotion.

A silky neutral blazer is the perfect layering piece for all your party attire.

Glaze your pout with this hydrating lip oil. The deep berry shade and mirror-like shine says New Year's Eve to me.

Just look at the diamanté strap. I'm swooning.

Own the spotlight in this head-turning metallic sweater.

One layer of this cream-gel highlighter delicately illuminates, and two layers gives you a megawatt glow.

Velvet is the ultra-luxe fabric you need this season, especially in this rich cranberry color.

Indulge your lips with these decadent glosses. I'll take all 30 heavenly shades at only $6 a pop.

This cream-to-powder blush just might be your new go-to. It melts beautifully into the skin and then blends out to the perfect soft, smooth finish.

Make this glittery, gold bag the centerpiece of your outfit.

I'm shocked that this highlighter is only $5 because it rivals others that are 10 times the price. I'm in love with the pearlescent shimmer and three-dimensional luster that catches the light.

Metallics are definitely having a moment, so I'm getting in on the trend.

Sambas will be a staple in 2024 and beyond. I love them because you can dress them up or down.
