I'm 5'2" and Eyeing These Under-$100 Zara, Nordstrom, and H&M Finds for Fall

What does a 5’2” fashion editor who’s nearly maxed out her fall shopping budget before the season has even started have left on her wish list? Under-$100 finds that are universally lovable but especially suited to fellow petite people, of course! Niche, I know, but sometimes it’s nice to hone in a little, and today I felt like targeting my specific sartorial needs and budget all in one.

So what difference does it make when shopping for someone who’s much closer in height to five feet than six? I would say it’s subtle, but there are definitely some important factors to consider. For example, the always-flattering matching set is a go-to, shoes with any sort of platform are keepers, and jeans and pants tend to be a perfect balance between slim and wide so that you can still get a nice shape in without looking like they’re swallowing you whole. Of course, there are also those basics and trend pieces that are simply great for anyone, regardless of their body type, and I've uncovered quite a few of those today, too. To see and shop all the above and more—with the help of Zara, Nordstrom, and H&M—simply keep scrolling.

Zara

I love a vest-as-top, and the asymmetric buttons make this one feel extra special.

Matching sets like this are so flattering because they create an elongated look from head to toe.

I just ordered this top to style with flowy black pants and pumps.

As someone who is not the tallest, I've found that a straight leg is my ideal fit. Not too wide, not too tight.

Faded leather is everywhere right now, and I'm loving it.

My two favorite things in one look—matching sets and miniskirts.

I want to wear these with miniskirts and tights all season.

My ideal fall outfit in a nutshell.

Nordstrom

This will nearly be a maxi skirt on me, and that's exactly the look I'm going for.

I usually shy away from longer tops, but the way this opens up at the front tells me it will be very flattering.

There's no escaping this shoe trend right now, and why would you want to?

I suddenly want to trade in all my oversize blazers for this beauty.

Of course, the matching skirt is a must.

One of those jackets you'll wear every single day once the temps drop.

H&M

You already know what I want to say about this.

I think this is my favorite boot trend of the season.

I can't decide if I'd wear it with Mary Janes or boots first.

One thing about me is that I randomly love a pink-knit-and-jeans moment.

Belts make every outfit better.

I can just tell this is an amazing sweater.
