I'm what you might call a bona fide neutral lover. Although I am mesmerized by bold colors on the runway, sometimes I find it hard to pull off in real life, especially in a city like New York, where black is the everyday go-to. But this spring 2024 season, I spotted quite a few color trends that I can pull off to make myself feel pulled together and super-rich at the same time.

Thankfully, for the minimalist lover in me, some of my favorite hues (and silhouettes!) are already trending on the runway. From charcoal gray power suits at Ferragamo to the perfect shade of navy at Miu Miu to the mood-boosting Barbie pinks at Prada, today's color trends are instant hits in my book. Below are the pieces I'll be wearing to add a luxe take to my closet.

A belted coat adds the instant chic factor to any look.

This will be your go-to layering piece on the weekly.

Silky, comfortable, slouchy. What more can you ask for?

Dressed up or down, it's an effortless silhouette.

Suit up with this pinstripe beauty.

Let's get to the knitty gritty: This sweaterdress is just plain chic.

T-shirts are the easiest way to test a color.

The bow adds an element of sweetness to this formfitting top.

You can never have too many slip dresses.

CHARCOAL GRAY

Get down to business in a structured blazer.

Dad sneakers that are cool. Need we say more?

You get two-for-one with this easy set.

When we say the perfect draped pants, we mean it.

Add a little texture to a monochromatic look with a puffy bag.

DUSTY ROSE

This faux suede is as soft as the real thing.

Don't complicate things—a henley is a forever classic.

Give your everyday black bag a break.

This is one of those sweaters you will live in.

A good transition piece to layer now and take into spring.

OXBLOOD OBSESSED

Elegance and sexiness can coexist, and this top proves it.

Show a little skin with this mesh, bodycon silhouette.

If you hate fidgeting with tucked-in shirts, this bodysuit solves all the problems.

They're an investment buy, but you'll be surprised how often you reach for these.
