My Group Chat Is Lit With These Rihanna Outfits, so I Thought I'd Share

Few people rival the sartorial prowess of Rihanna. Whenever the multi-hyphenate leaves the house, it's a full-scale event—complete with hoards of paparazzi and outfits worthy of a show. The singer isn't one of the most referenced street style icons for nothing. Even a trip to the supermarket calls for Celine and Amina Muaddi stilettos. This also means there's plenty of outfit inspiration to be had whenever she's out and about.

Recently, the Fenty Beauty mastermind has been consistently photographed hitting the streets of New York and L.A. wearing a variety of new fashions. Naturally, my group chats and DMs have ignited with questions and discussions about it all. If Rihanna is wearing something, chances are you'll want to mentally bookmark it before it inevitably explodes as a trend. Since her latest looks have been a big enough conversation in texts, I figured I'd share my fashion research here. Consider this your shopping guide to all things Rihanna street style. Keep scrolling to see the looks that kept my inner circle buzzing as well as how to cop them for yourself.

An L.A. hot spot for the singer, the Italian restaurant might as well be Rihanna's second home. Come for its famous ravioli, and stay for a Rihanna sighting. The singer is a frequent visitor of Giorgio Baldi, which serves as the background of some of her most memorable street style looks. One of them? This look featuring a shearling-and-leather R13 coat, a Marni cardigan, and Braindead sweatpants. Not without a twist, she opted for Amina Muaddi heels instead of sneakers. If you're into trends, you likely already own each of these pieces, so here's an interesting way of wearing them.

This is about as "wearable" as you'll get with Rihanna, and unsurprisingly, it's a smorgasbord of the year's biggest trends. From the Balenciaga mules to the Gucci blazer, the look is as pricey as it is simple, but the good part is that it's so easy to re-create.

A few months later, Rihanna was spotted again at Giorgio Baldi—this time with a statement coat. The topper is a holy-grail vintage find, but luckily, similar styles are still on-trend and readily available. Amping it up further are custom tie-dye pants and a cutout top from one of my personal favorite designers, Hyein Seo. While each element is harder to source, you can easily adapt this with a similar shaggy faux-fur coat, tie-dye jeans, and a white tee. It's a look that will turn heads, but isn't that the point?

Proving that a great coat is universal, Rihanna pulled out her beloved R13 jacket again. This time, she styled it with a crinkled slip dress and gathered heeled boots. It's a practical outfit for the colder months when being fancy and staying warm are key. Unfortunately, R13's jacket is sold out, but I found an equally cool (and less expensive!) alternative from Stand Studio.

It's evident party pants are not off the table—even for billionaires. Being spotted a second time in a pair of statement pants, the Fenty Beauty CEO coordinated these trippy pants with a vest from Stussy. Although Rih is far from being a stranger to streetwear brands, I'd like to think she pulled this one out from A$AP Rocky's closet. The sweater-vest is also pretty affordable, retailing at $90. To adapt it to colder temps, try layering it over an oversize shirt.

Rihanna and Balenciaga are a magical pairing, and this time is no different. For a night out at—you guessed it—Giorgio Baldi, she wore wide-leg camo pants from the brand as well as her favorite white point-toe heels. Cargo pants are a trend that bubbles up every few years, and this year, it's reached a fever pitch, with camouflage iterations popping up everywhere. As well as Rihanna, fashion people have been styling them with heels and a simple tank or tee for a sophisticated take.

As well as taking fashion risks, the singer is the undisputed queen of oversize fits. Here, she styled a logo tee with baggy jeans and slouchy boots for an outfit that is both cool and casual. Jeans and a T-shirt are a fail-safe combo, but the look gets an experimental lift with looser proportions.
