I don't know about you, but I love browsing Airbnb properties whether I actually intend on booking them or not. Not only do I bookmark them for future trip ideas, but I also keep them in mind for home décor tips to copy, which lead me to create this story. Of course, I had to kick it off with the most stylish city in the world: Paris.

I combed through Airbnb to find chic, rentable properties in Paris that also provided tons of décor inspiration, and I definitely struck gold. Scroll down to see five trends I'm copying from these properties, even if I never make it to the City of Light this year.

Such a chic upgrade from Amazon sheets.

Urban Outfitters always offers the best trends.

Wallpaper is a fun way to perk up your place with little effort.

4. Add Maximum Greenery (Real or Faux)

This is the living room of the same apartment with the toile bedding above. The greenery instantly transports you to a tropical paradise.

This is such a classic option if you want to achieve a tropical vibe.

This one is faux—but you'd never know it!

Spider plants are perfect for novices.

5. Try Mixing Multiple Mirrors

I love the trio of mirrors over the fireplace in this two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the Marais. It rents for an average of $345 per night.

I'm obsessed with these cute gold mirrors.

Buying multiple mirrors isn't as intimidating when they're priced this well.

Don't overlook H&M's cute home section.

This built-in shelf adds some helpful functionality.

You can't go wrong with a classic round shape.
