When it comes to our most beloved denim, there are some pieces in our closets that are older than we'd like to admit. We can't let them go because they either fit perfectly or they give us all the feels. Call us sentimental, but if our jeans could talk, they'd have some epic tales to tell.

And unlike other fast-fashion pieces, denim trends have a much longer shelf life—especially when they come from a trusted mainstay like J Brand. For this reason, we couldn't think of a better brand to include in our 10-year anniversary celebration.

Flared jeans were incredibly popular earlier on in the decade, and they became relevant again with the '70s revival trend of the past few seasons.  

If you're anything like us, deconstructed denim has been a staple in your wardrobe for as long as you can remember. These are the ultimate off-duty jeans; wear them with a tee, cardigan, and ankle boots, and you're good to go. Looking for a more polished look? Try a blazer and pumps instead.

Do we even need to introduce skinny jeans? While looser finds have replaced this style as the most on-trend silhouette, skinny jeans have become a classic staple that will never go out of style.

Ah, yes—high-rise denim. We praise this style as one of the most flattering denim silhouettes ever. 

One of the most controversial denim trends over the years because of its undone, slightly masculine appeal, boyfriend jeans still remain one of our all-time favorites. Plus, we love the recent offshoots of this silhouette, including straight cropped styles and mom jeans. 

Culottes are a high-fashion favorite for a reason. Try them with a printed button-down and trench for an incredibly polished look. 

Step-hem jeans—jeans with raw hems that are shorter in the front and longer in the back—have become increasingly popular as of late. We're fans of this style because it looks exceptionally effortless. 

Cropped flares have practically replaced skinnies as fashion girls' favorite denim trend. You can spot them all over the Who What Wear offices too.
