3 Fall Trends That Are Lighting Up, 2 That Are Going Strong, and One That's Out

With fall outfits already in heavy rotation throughout a lot of the country and the world, there’s no better time than now to get a sense of the current and upcoming trends. To do this, you can always start by seeing what’s popping up in street style shots, Instagram feeds, and the new-arrivals section of your favorite stores. From there, you start to get a clearer picture of the fashion trends that are newly sparked, which are still hanging on from last season, and which are losing (or have already lost) traction. Either way, you can rest easy knowing you can always turn to our editors for insider tips on what to look out for.

This season, I have gotten a great glimpse at the market, which I am happy to share below. Think cool outerwear, fresh denim, and standout shoe styles. I do want to preface my breakdown by recommending that regardless of the trend cycle, it’s important to remain true to your personal style and wear the trends that uplift your spirits the most.
