That the white shirt is a genuine wardrobe essential is not up for debate—it's easily the hardest working item for all our favourite influencers, stylists, and celebrities. If the fresh breath of spring has you itching to add yet another iteration to your closet, you'll be happy to hear that Karen Millen has released a capsule collection of white shirts, The White Shirt Campaign. Yes, nothing but crisp white cotton designed for every conceivable style tribe. What a dream!

Designed at the brand's London atelier, each shirt plays with elements of proportion, volume, or silhouette. Oversized boyfriend styles sit alongside prim pussy bow blouses, and the statement sleeve trend is interpreted yet again in a sharp, fluted shape. The foundation of the collection is, of course, lightweight premium cotton; a nice throwback to the formation of the brand, when founder Karen Millen used a £100 loan to buy 1000 metres of white cotton to create elevated white shirts for her friends.

For spring styling inspiration, the brand teamed up with well-known local and international fashion influencers to photograph their take on The White Shirt Campaign. The list includes our own INF / Network member Talisa Sutton from Sydney, Lisa Hamilton from See Want Shop in Melbourne, Camille Charrière in Paris, Laura Jackson from London, and Jeanne Grey of Grey Layers in New York. We'll definitely be taking style cues from their images to form our go-to spring look. Now, to find the perfect pair of mid-wash blue denim…
